An abura zemi in full view

One of the characteristics of summer in Japan is the sound of cicadas. Every morning I am woken up by their energetic and relentless chirping. When I first came to Japan, I was amazed at the power of their sound reverberating around the area. Now I am completely accustomed to it, and it signals the welcome arrival of summer. Through catching cicadas with my children, I am gradually learning more and more about these insects.
I want to cherish this moment.

日本の夏の特徴といえば、セミの鳴き声。

毎朝元気に鳴くセミ達に起こされています。

初めて日本に来た時には、その鳴き声の迫力にびっくりしました。

今はすっかり慣れて季節を感じるようになりました。

子供達とセミとり。

私も少しずつセミについても詳しくなってきました。

この瞬間を大事にしたいですね。
