Sam Holtmon is a freelance journalist who has worked for a variety of publications including: The Guardian, The Sunday Times Magazine and NME. He helped cover the Fringe Festivals in Scotland and Brighton for the Edinburgh Evening News and ThreeWeeks. He has also been the Editor of the Events section for What's On Magazine in Brighton.
He is also a freelance radio producer and has produced a radio feature for a BBC run training scheme (CSV) which has been showcased on their website.
Sam co-writes short films with filmmaker Daniel D. Moses and has produced a number of films with DDM Productions including original short film "The Rabbi", which won 3 categories in the MySpace Short Film of the Month Film Festival in August 2008; as well as ongoing and future projects.
Last year Sam taught English in Japan, his year involved exploring Japan, winning a photography competition, being harassed by monkeys and being punched in the stomach by a Buddhist Monk. His experiences can be read about in his blog.
